And this week Adobe released the latest Premiere Pro - with new secondary color correction and what appears at first glance to be a pretty well thought out proxy work flow among other things. So Avid has to cut payroll through layoffs and furloughs while Adobe continues to have the resources to add features.
I am finding fewer reasons to stay with Avid (after 20 years, plus several years of FCP 7). These days I start most new projects with Premiere. Working on
some ongoing and legacy projects with Avid.
So be it...
