Hmmm ... you may very well have a different problem.
I can successfully perform a video mixdown on UHD source material that has been linked using Drastic's MediaReactor plugin -- material that cannot be otherwise transcoded because of the aforementioned issue.
When attempting to transcode said source material, Media Composer throws the following error message: "The Transcode cannot be completed because the source contains an unsupported resolution". And when looking at the "Video" column of the bin that contains that linked media, the clip is identified as "Unsupported".
