H264 is love... I guess the h is for herpes.I loathe that codec it's the source of agony in online. Ever increasing import times in flame, client complaints about contrast and saturation - never ending nightmare.Just because the older stuff was worse doesn't make h264 good.Mike

The Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG) is a working group of authorities that was formed by ISO and IEC to set standards for audio and video compression and transmission.
All those "Experts" and they best they can come up with is H.264? That format has taken years off my life trying to figure out why my reference videos sent in H.264 drift in and out of sync with cut points etc...
Oh well I respect all the technology that goes into these things but I would have never thought the "E" was for expert. I would have gone with engineering myself. ;-)
I guess as an OKI Dog "Expert" I should set some standards but I just don't think I could lower them fast enough to keep up.
