Re: [Avid-L2] iLok manager

I used to have this problem pretty consistently on Windows. I went into the Pace License Services Properties via the Service Manager and changed the startup type from "Automatic" to "Automatic (Delayed Start)" and that seemed to make the problem go away. But after installing MC 8.4, I'm seeing it happen again occasionally.

If this is the same bug.... MC version 7.x to 8.3 have it. The workaround is to start the iLok service manually in Windows. It has been patched with version 8.4.

I've been getting an occasional error on startup of MC. A white box opens up saying the iLok manager is not running. I tried opening the iLok manager to see what was up, but it won't open because it "may not have been installed correctly."  And then MC just quits.
It takes a couple of machine reboots to get past this.
We're still on a dongle. Do you think it may be dying?
