[Avid-L2] Can't believe this is still a bug???

 

I'm stuck using some OMF audio that POPS almost any time you add a dissolve to it- maybe those dissolves are rendered as MXF?

Anyway, so I switch to gain automation, which I generally find too cumbersome for short form work, and I hit record automation, and POOF, media composer DISAPPEARS.  Totally repeatable.  I thought this problem was quashed AGES ago! 

MC 8.3.1 on Mac 10.8.5

Anyone else have this problem?
