Secret Headquarters, inc. is my boutique post-production company,
gradually expanding into full-service production.
We're looking to build out our 'rolodex' of Los Angeles-based freelance
editors and Pro Tools mixers in anticipation of several upcoming
projects. We do NOT anticipate any additional permanent staff
positions, and do NOT have any IMMEDIATE openings: rather, we are
specifically looking to expand our potential talent pool so we can scale
up quickly as needed.
Our areas of expertise include promotion and publicity, including
short-form featurettes and program-length behind-the-scenes
documentaries. We are also involved documentary-style 'reality'
programing, both in creative editorial and program finishing and
delivery. For creative editorial we work in Media Composer; finishing
editors should be comfortable with all tools, include some photoshop and
After Effects, as well as DaVinci Resolve and even FCP-7. Freelance
mixers should be expert with Pro Tools for picture.
We're the 'secret weapon' for our clients - which include television
networks, studios, and other production companies. Editors should be
good story-tellers, creative and self-motivated. Work environment is
decidedly low-key with reasonable hours; results-oriented, and often
deadline-driven.
