For me in a none quite rack it's definitely noticeable but livable. As I see much of my series work is probably going to move more 23.976 to avoid cadence issues for ancillary deliveries like Hulu I'm seeing more use for the universal mastering feature. I know the video mixdown route is more stable and bullet proof but the expedience of outputting right from the 24 frame timeline to 59.94 is very attractive to me. Keeping in mind I have to be manually mindful to edit in on an A frame and out on a D frame. YMMV. They are a good box for what they do if you have those needs. IIRC the cable is 6' or so so plan on having the Nitris box near the computer.

Not that noisy, but we have most of them quiet boxes with the rest of the gear. The cable is about 6'.
