Two dongle-related things that may be of interest:
- I updated three dongles today, using an older copy of Dongle Manager on my personal MacBook Pro. Once updated for version 8, two of these dongles could no longer be scanned by that older copy of Dongle Manager. When returned to the systems to which they belonged, the dongles were found to be properly updated for 8.0. (I had not seen this thread in time.)
- An colleague has found that dongles are not being seen on his system running Mac OS 10.10 Yosemite. Media Composer will not launch, nor will Dongle Manager scan the dongle. He has not updated his Avid software yet, and is admittedly running an un-supported configuration. So, don't be that guy.
