Not my trick: If you Matchframe in Avid then use FindBin you can save a step. Hit Alt+FindBin or add Alt modifier to your Find Bin keystroke

I lost the original post, but this tip came from one of the "Michael"s on the list. Awesome tip. I'm sorry I can't properly attribute it. The abbreviated tip above is how I posted it to Twitter... there were more details, but that should get you where you need to go.

Seen this repeatedly in my current project, all AMA linked. Pretty consistent actually. In order for sequence clips to auto-relink, the parent has to be in an open bin. I've been doing a lot of match frame/open bin recently, so I need to look up your trick.

Similarly, if I relink master clips when the subclip bins are not open, the sub clips do not automatically relink. I must relink them as a separate action.
