Nexidia and Avid are both monitoring this whole debate on the -L2, so if you've got something you want to have heard, this is the place to do it.
Dear Avid and Nexidia,
Please hurry, work out whatever issues are between you, and give us back ScriptSync and PhraseFind. While these features may not be top selling options, to the niche crowd that uses them, they are crucial to their workflows.
You have apparently set this up so that no one else may offer us these tools, which to me implies that you have an obligation to the editing community to reinstate these features — and expand on them.
We have been told both of you are aware of the importance of these features, but it has been a few months of uncertainty now, and some of us are increasingly worried.
