I have a buddy who is an avid ascr who now works for lightworks. He has nothing but great things to say about it. I will ask him your question and post his reply.

I read that Scott Brock and Thelma Schoonmaker are set up with Avid MXF media on a shared system, with two Lightworks systems and two Media Composers accessing the same media.
