Sounds like the Screen Mask was not tight enough. Should have been cropped to the shortest height if I understand the typical masking expectations in film. I freaked when I saw all the booms etc... in the frame when cutting a preview feature. Then it dawned on me I needed to mask it like they do in the projector/screen of a theater.
