Sorry to extend the conversation but recently someone here suggested that the MC8 activation ID could be used for previous version like v6 and v7. I searched the archives and couldn't find it.
We are starting a series and we're trying to all be on the same version 6. Some of us must buy a new license but of course you can only get MC8 now.

Is it true that the MC8 activation ID can be used for previous versions.
