We recorded an event last week on KiPros - portable and rack versions - all at ProRes. All the files play fine on Macs, but it's hit and miss on Windows. And I can't find a common problem.
Some files are one hour and won't play, but two hour files will. So file size doesn't seem to be a factor. And whether the file comes form the KiPro portable or rack mount doesn't make a difference either.
QT Player responds with Error 2048. VLC won't play them. I wanted to bring these files directly into Avid DVD, but that's not working.
