Try Option+drag and drop to AMA multiple files into a bin.

Per default they live at the bottom of the CLIPS001 folder.

You can import from different subfolders at once: open the top folder and search for *.mov files, or the proper extension, in the search results window select all the files You wish to import, drag and drop them in an Avid bin, don't forget to set Your import preferences as for target disk and resolution first; there's not such a technique for AMA linking that I know of however.
