Consider an external recorder to avoid the H264 compression. They'll need updated firmware.

Dearest Sage Ones,
Seeking recommendations for a low budget feature I'm cutting in July. I would prefer to cut from the camera sources, so I'll need enough storage to cover 20 shoot days.
How much storage would you recommend I get, and do you have any favorite RAID setups?
Also, does anyone have a feature film project template (Avid) they might care to share?
