I agree about ACA Scott. Actually, I see it as a BAD thing for most of us. It's downright silly, and I think the only people who will bother to be a part of it are the broadcasters. A user community that you have to pay to be a part of? Seriously? Who else does this?
It used to be that Avid would help you and sponsor and PAY to build and support local communities and customer bases.
ACA does not show that Avid is listening. It shows that they want to turn what was a drain on expenses into a cash cow. "Hey! We'll listen to you if you pay us $300 for the weekend!"
