1- you mean, relink to the original AMA files and than no need to transcode if i would like to add effects or apply CC for example? or i need to transcode again for DNxHD 145 for example in order to work and not get stuck ? so basicaly you saying that i just use the AMA and export the Sequence as an online right?
2- If i want to move to dA-vinchi resolve for grading than i don't need to transcode and just export AAF (and enable AAF edit protocol) so i have the original quality
