The current market cap of Avid Technology is $210m - I bet we could scrape that together. The shares have dropped by almost 50% from this time last year.
I'm convinced that the biggest problem with Avid is the fact it's publicly traded, so we should buy it, delist it and run it as a private company and make it be as awesome as we're fairly sure it can be.
I'm only about half joking - I'd love to see Avid become a private company, it constantly seems hamstrung by being a public company. If they go private they can do what they need to do, say what they need to say.
Of course I probably totally misunderstand large business, but still.
