That depends on what you consider a "long" transcode. On my z800, AVCHD
transcodes between twice and three times real speed (that's half to a third
clip length, so a three minute clip in 1-2 minutes). I get a lot of AVCHD,
so when it became included in AMA, I was thrilled. Much faster than
importing.
