Actually, a DNxHD with RGB levels, exported from MC, is essentially exported at 16-235, but with a flag for different QT playback levels, adjusting them to 0-255 display. If you import into MC at 709 levels, you will see that all the levels have been maintained.
So AMA ignores the QT flags (thank heavens), and shows the actual content of the file, I think.
