Damn! First the obvious - all marks are cleared? And then, tried thrashing state files? Make a new sequence and overwrite your existing sequence into it in case there's some corruption with the original sequence file?

Subject: [Avid-L2] audio problems
I am having some real audio problems with MC 5.5.3. First off, the stuttering
sound during random dissolves is back and there is nothing that takes it away.
Rendered or not, when I fade audio with an edit and dissolve, it crackles.
Sometimes you hear it in the timeline but sometimes not until you make a QT.
Huge problem. This is how I mix so now I have to change my workflow to
keyframes. However, for some reason, I can't move independent keyframes in the
audio track. If I move one up or down, they all move. Jeeeez. Of course its
a deadline day. Is there a setting I am missing to free up the keyframes?
