Would these SR files be the same type of file that is generated by the SRW-5800s with the drive option? And if so would there be any way to take that file into one of the Sony decks with the drive option and have it make a tape from the file. I have not had a chance to work with the drive/file option models of Sony decks so I don't exactly know how the nuts and bolts of their workflows. Anybody using them on a regular basis?
