Oliver it just adds up to Edit Voodoo. After all those years dealing with FCP lost renders now you have a new form of Edit Voodoo. Just embrace the over cut and perhaps a chicken sacrifice wouldn't hurt. ;-)

I cannot transcode the AMA clips again, because I can't relink the media in the first place. This puts me in a position of starting over. Fortunately I was dealing with selects reels, so the small percentage of clips that didn't relink could be imported fresh and over-cut.
