Agreed. That works. In my case, I have to maintain the cuts that were already done. This was from AMA links and transcoded to drives that I don't have. So I don't have the transcoded media. I cannot transcode the AMA clips again, because I can't relink the media in the first place. This puts me in a position of starting over. Fortunately I was dealing with selects reels, so the small percentage of clips that didn't relink could be imported fresh and over-cut.
Again the real question is still why there was no TC on the clips that DID relink, even though the edits these clips were involved in ultimately were frame accurate.
