[Avid-L2] Can't find any audio cards

 

I'm stuck.

Suddenly, I've lost connection with MBox2. I'm on MC 5.5 running ProTools co-installed. Windows 7. ProTools is working but when I start Avid it says "Can't find any audio cards" and insists that I use ASIO, no audio, or quit. Doesn't see MBox. The MBox is selected as the Windows default audio device in the Windows control panel.

Anybody have a clue how to make Avid to see the MBox?
