[Avid-L2] Re: OS Change from 10.5.X to 10.6.8 causing disk initialize Prompt?

That's what I thought, thanks for the confirmation. Now after I reset the systems DNS server number I should just initialize those disks, right? ;-) Just kidding. A little humor from the former holder of the most maintenance induced errors on the ABC prospect lot. Not sure if anyone has surpassed my record there as it was over 20 years ago.

When I boot to the 10.6.8 drive I get initialize or eject disk prompts with about 4 windows. The system is hooked fibre to our recently installed media net 5. This new startup disk only has the connection manager for ethernet installed 5.2 from our old ethernet avid. Once I eject the windows I see all the internal drives. Are these prompts likely because fibre manager has not been installed on the system? I would think that might be it but I can't experiment on the system right now because it is in use running the normal startup drive. TIA
