[Avid-L2] OT: Avocent KVM Extenders

 

I know lots of people use extenders and Avocent support forum is down. We have the extenders all over the facility. When they are hooked up to a 24" Dell, they will spit out 1920x1200. I just got an NEC 27" LED monitor (crap monitor) and when it's hooked up to the Avocent, I get a message saying the native resolution of the monitor is only 1280 x 1024, but the monitor's native resolution is 1920x1200. Our engineering can't figure it out, I thought I'd give it a shot here.
