That's where I get confused what happens on the first frame where there are no previous frames? I thought the kind of display choices involved look at frames before and after the current displayed frame kinda like a gop structure. I'll have to reread your article with that in mind. Just wish Sony would delay the audio jack out of the monitor to compensate. Oh well there's always Mr. Behringer.

I also understand this effects audio sync even if I monitor the audio through the monitors own audio out jack which is the dembedded audio from SDI input. I have been told the BVM monitors don't have the processing delay issue and I'm curious how that happens given the need to get both Psf or interlace fields into the monitor before it can be processed for the Progressive display on the OLED screen. Does anybody know if the BVM OLEDs are just delaying the audio signal out of the monitors audio jack or is the circuitry just blazingly fast compared to the PVM. I see the PVM is a 10 bt engine and BVM a 12 bit engine under the hood. I anybody running a BVM OLED with a separate monitor mixer coming straight out of the Avid or whatever LED and is that audio in sync with the BVM in highest quality mode? I've seen charts on the PVM
