I just got a large intuos 4. The only one on the wacom site was an extra large. I found a large intuos 4 on amazon. I got it because I did a session and the programmable keys with a function read out was intriguing. I have several wacoms a Intuos 3, a 2 and a couple blue tooth models for my laptops. I did find the large intuos 4 bigger than I thought it would be when it arrived. I think the unit I had worked with must have been a medium. I like the 9x12 tablets I've used in the past. This one seems to have a more 16x9 shape to it. I just hope it doesn't take up to much desktop space as it seems a little wider than the older 9x12's I've used. Could be just a feeling I haven't compared them up against each other. Love the tablets. I too saw the new Intuos 5 with touch pad capabilities which didn't interest me as much as the programmable keys with readouts.

My hunch would be the multitouch capable ones might be good for the future, but I can also see somehow that being useless or worse, problematic, with Media Composer. I'm *not* looking at the Cintiqs as I freelance and need something that move easily with me.
