the database. No copy of the clip exists in any folder. This generally
means that the media is safe to delete. There is an Orphaned Media folder
visible only to Interplay Administrators, which is the last stop before a
clip is deleted, in most workflows.
Not to be confused with media that resides on ISIS which is unknown by the
Interplay database. This is retrieved by running resync on one or more ISIS
workspaces.
What other usage of the term "orphan clip" are you hearing?
