Hey here is one thing I've found causes main thread buss error and vaporizes my SNDX mac 4.0.5. Segment edit seems prone to it but specifically when I try to move certain motion effected clips and drop them down to a lower video layer poof. After restart if I park on the clip and in the motion effect editor toggle ignore render setting on and then back off I can move the clip without error. Sometimes I've promoted an old standard motion effect to avoid the same error. Something in there makes segment edit mode very unhappy. I'll call it "MetaVoodoo." The T-shirt is coming. ;-)
