No. But RCX creates clips with Tape names, whereas AMA creates clips with Source File names, and these cannot be changed or cross-linked (although I'm not sure if that changed in v6).
As a rule of thumb, you either go and stay AMA, OR you go RCX and stay RCX.

RCX does create Avid MXF (and/or QT), but only DNxHD, so no JFIF SD 10:1.
I missed your answer about the framerate this is shot at. But when going Red in the US, I would recommend shooting and posting in 23.976, and only add pulldown and go to 59.54i at the very end. With offline in DNxHD36.
