I could not decipher the metadata in the OMF sound (way more difficult than
MXF...),
so i've made an ALE import routine.
It compares reelname / duration from the ALE (that you make of your video)
with the reelname / duration of the OMF.
Output is BWF in a seperate folder per reelname, with clipnames as filename.
So relinking existing timelines might turn out a bit more work (no idea if
you can assign a reelname to the BWF's and relink),
but at least you got your data back...
