[Avid-L2] font issues in title tool

 

I am getting those pesky font issues again in title tool. Brought in a lower third from an older project in SD. Now working in HD so wanted to recreate titles. As as I rerender in DNX, the lower line turns into a bar-code-looking line. Lots of vertical dashes. I tried to open the title in title tool and same. The font is Univers and I checked and it is OpenType.

I am on Mac, MC 5.5 and OSX 10.6.7

Is Opent type the format I want or should I change in Font Exchange? Is one format more reliable than others on Mac in Avid? I have come across this issue many times.
