So would I -- had I not already upgraded to MC v.6 and purchased the BCC8 upgrade at the promotional price.
For those in that particular situation, with the additional overlay of possibly not running Nitris DX (no Universal Mastering) -- the question of upgrading to Symphony6 from MC6 is a bit less black and white -- as it all rests on the strength of the CC Tool.
It will be interesting to see if/how Avid has addressed the shortcomings of the CC tool, how they parse new CC features between MC and Symphony -- and whether or not other new differentiating features help individuals like me reconcile and rationalize the upgrade cost.
