Their pricing doesn't sound realistic. Not that this is a new idea. But the fact that 'Bolex is on board' makes it worth keeping an eye on.

A few different approaches are already on the market: Ikonoskop's A-Cam series, and the 16mm digital magazines for the Arriflex SR3 cameras from P+S Technik.

A 'cheap' hand-cranked digital Bolex would be very desirable though…
