RE: [Avid-L2] Standards

Correct! No technical information of any kind. We failed because we had 1080 50i and Stereo. All they want is the programme name, series, episode, part number. No durations, no tech info at all. This is now across the board for all the main UK broadcasters - Sky, ITV, BBC, channel 4 etc. Considering the programme wasn't due to be transmitted for months they could have easily returned the tapes to us and had us change them. just another rip off. They also failed us for having a copyright statement which stated 2011 (when the programme was made) when the show was to be aired in 2012, despite the fact that they had told the producer of the show that it should say 2011! double grrr!

Ah yes.

I think the rule is no tech info on the clock at all.. It goes against

everything you learnt!

I've just had a programme rejected by the beeb because we wrote "Stereo" on

the slate (which it was). It's getting ridiculous. Don't worry though, the

BBC fixed it in house for a small fee on all ten programmes we delivered to

them. Thank God. Grrrr...
