[Avid-L2] Re: AAF has a 4.2G limit on MC 5.5 ??

Hi Mark - Thanks very much for taking the time to test this, however, I tried your suggestion (my settings were very similar to yours) and matched EXACTLY to what you had - still, no luck. Damn.
The export 'appeared' to be going along smoothly, no error messages or warnings, and the fie shows up on the drive, looking intact, but its shows it to be 4.29 GB in size. Uh oh.
I created a brand new project, new bin, attempted an import and received the following:

" Exception: AAFDomain: Failed to open file for reading., hr:0x0000004 "

FWIW, here are my system specs:
15" MacBookPro 2.53 Intel Core Duo, 4GB RAM, OSX 10.6.7 MC vers 5.5.2 & I was exporting to a 2TB 7200 Hitachi G Drive - could 5.5.2 vs 5.5.3 be the difference ???

After this project I guess I'll just have to upgrade (both OSX & MC)

thnx again

Dave B
