Hey all.
Is there no way to remove pulldown properly in Avid MC 5.5 or 6.0? I mean...shooting DVCPRO HD 1080pA 24...that of course shoots at 29.97....and having Avid remove the PROPER frames to that it plays back at 23.98? This was a huge issue that had me leaning on FCP quite a bit, as it does this without second thought. But here I am, using MC 5.5 on my laptop, 6.0 on my tower, and faced with 1080pA footage that I cannot get to play properly.
Mainly doing this as a test for someone who came from a job where they have MC 4 and HOURS of footage shot 1080pA 24...and they have to use After Effects to do the pulldown removal.
This can't still be an issue, can it?
