Re: [Avid-L2] Sony XDCAM

 

No you need the PDBK-F1500 optional card for the 1500 to play/record 24p
based material.
I was assuming this would not be the case if you treat the deck like a
XDCAM disc drive like the U1, but apparently Sony needs the money want you
to purchase the board even though it is not involved in the data mode.
