We can 'hope' for all kinds of things, but lets not set ourselves up for disappointment. I didn't read 'searchable effects palette' or 'tabbed timelines' in the 'spill' anywhere... even between the lines. Let's add those to the 'feature request' category, for sure, though.

For the last few years, every media composer release has been a huge leap forward. Start making your request list for 6.5 now, since it would appear that 6 already has some web copy written for it!
