RE: [Avid-L2] Re: Disk_Access_Denied

Project is local, and I have a local media drive. Offline media is all
read-only on the EditShare (as are the offline media's databases of course).

I believe I may have found a workaround. I've unmapped all the ES media
drives, launched MC and opened a fresh copy of the project. Obviously all
the media is offline. It appears to now be allowing me to import the files
and then happily linking to that media. What I don't know yet is what will
happen when I put the ES back online so as to access other media from it
that I do need.

Does that all make sense?

Almost sounds like the project is on a read-only drive.
