[Avid-L2] Calibrated Q Codec

 

Avid Symphony 5.5.2
32 bit XW8600

So if we import XDCam codec footage we get a watermarked Calibrated Q all over the image. If we AMA the footage and Consolidate, it is fine. I recently did this for a multicam project. After the edit was finished, I did a Send To DVD Authoring to go to Avid DVD. The project came up with the Calibrated Q watermark in the Sonic software even though it was not present in the Symphony. A mixdown of the Symphony sequence fixed this but what is the deal?
