Yep there is a 30 day trial for both SS and PF as part of the 5.5 Trial. There is also a "getting started Guide" here...

Aside if anyone has tried the MC 5.5 Trial and the 30 days expired and now want to try it again to see how PF and SS work, ping me as I will need to provide a temp license so you can try it again.
