[Avid-L2] An idea for a new feature... Face Recognition combined with Phrase-Find

 

I am an independent editor working on MC 5.5
I have recently started using the "Phrase-Find" option in the "Find" tool. As I edit mostly TV documentaries I usually use it to find a specific word that I remember the character said and that helps me to find the topic I wanted to hear him talk about. The problem is sometimes more than one character talks about the same topic and it takes forever to find the right person saying the word I was searching
So...
I had an idea to add another filter which can be used also outside the "Find" tool and that is - "Face Recognition" !!!
It is a technology already used in photos software and on Facebook.com
I don't know how hard it must be to have this technology with video footage, but -
If it's possible it would give Avid another huge advantage!!!
So that's my idea - I would love to hear thoughts about it...
