Last night at the Supermeet in London Larry Jordan did seem to hint quite heavily that some of these problems eg multicam, would be fixed quite soon - he gave a timeframe of within two months before the first update. That's not to say multicam would be in within two months, that's just to say that he believes apple are listening and aware of the situation - he quoted from an email sent to him from apple. As for OMF, AAF, EDL etc. this will basically be a third party only solution. Both red giant and saphire have plugins ready to work with fcpx too. The quote was apple have left "big hooks" into the program for developers to create the tools people need. Still, i don't have to pay $500 to export an OMF in MC. By the time you pay for all the functionality you had in FCP7 or have in MC you will have spent another few thousand quid. Which is rubbish. Bring on MC 6.0!

I really doubt Apple will fix them quickly. Or possibly at all.

[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
If you want to donate to Red Cross quake relief, you can do so through your cell phone. Text redcross to 90999 to make a $10 donation. It will be on your next cell bill.
