[Avid-L2] Re: Mac Update Install Notes

 


I read this a few posts back, but now I have a question:

On a Mac, before clicking the new Patch (5.0.3.9) to install it -- does one uninstall Media Composer using the UNinstaller in the "Media Composer Uninstallers" folder OR does the new Patch's installer perform the uninstall automatically (or as an option)?

The quote below certainly seems to say use the UNinstaller in the "Media Composer Uninstallers" folder. Correct?

Between the following two posts, which one is correct?
