Well....
My antique, completely over matched PC has finally bit the dust. Since
I do mostly low end, to middle of the road production and this us
unplanned, I'm looking at an Imac vs MacPro replacement, because I need
to keep things as inexpensive as possible. The idea being that then I
can run/switch to any of the three major NLE's if necessary.
Anyone have any feedback on running MC5 on an Imac? I know I can't do
raid, but with thunderbolt coming out, I'm wondering if that is as
important as it used to be. We shoot on an EX3, and are not nearly as
strong on graphics as we should be. Work is mostly middle of the road,
to low end corporate.
Suggestions/Discussions?
