It's that time of year again when I get to give a little back to my Home Town and High School Electronics/Media teacher. Had it not been for the experiences I had in High School electronics and audio/television production I might have never thought of a career in television. This year former students from the Monte Vista High School program from the 70's through the 90's will pitch in to put on a guitar recital for 55 local guitar students and a live webcast. It will be my chance to play around with some of that low frequency video others call "audio." I'm doing the house mix so I'm in charge of feedback prevention among other things. Should be fun except for the load out part. Funny in High School hauling the equipment was half the fun because it was all exciting and new. Oh well after tear down I won't need to hit the gym for another year. ;-) Here's the link that has a link for the live webcast 7pm Thurday May 12th pacific time.:
